Colors and Flavors of Provence  September 24-29, 2020

Paris Pre-Trip  September 21-24, 2020

Join your classmates for a reunion in colorful and charming Provence.

Provence is a medley of light and color, of ancient Roman ruins, medieval villages perched on steep hills, and charming and historic cities. You'll have a chance to sample these, along with local products and colorful markets, as well as the light that drew so many artists to these surroundings.

You will stay in Avignon, an ancient walled city, once home to the popes in the 14th century. Her largest monument, le Palais des Papes, bears witness to those times. From Avignon you will be able to venture out to visit the Provence countryside, from the Sunday market in Isle-‐sur-‐la-‐Sorgue, to perched villages like Gordes, as well as the UNESCO site Pont du Gard, and the charming city of Aix-‐en-‐Provence, birthplace of Cézanne and site of many of his paintings.. And you will have a chance to taste some of the local specialties for which Provence is famous.
