L. E. (Pete) Castleberry, Jr.
May 24, 1942 – February 28, 2017

Pete Castleberry found rest and peace on February 28, 2017. Born to L.E. and Doris Castleberry on May 24, 1942 in Hot Springs, AR, he was raised in a military family. Pete enjoyed living in many locations, especially Cheyenne, WY, and Paris, France, where he graduated from Paris American High School. He received a BBA and an MBA from East Texas State University and completed a post-graduate program at the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at SMU. He worked at the Federal Reserve Bank in San Antonio and later taught at Palo Alto College. He and his wife of 48 years, Judy, had two sons and enjoyed years of involvement in their sports, scouting and church activities. In addition to Judy, he is survived by Jason (Austin), Mike and Kate (Minneapolis), grandsons Myles and Henry, sister Cynthia, and numerous other relatives.
