Edward Evans

After PAHS, it was Glen Burnie HS, Maryland, for my senior year. On then to the U of MD until the army got me. In 1966 was commissioned and sent to Greece for a year, when many of my colleagues went the other way: To Viet Nam. Left the army in 1968, returned to Baltimore and worked there until my wife, two wee little ones, and I left for Belgium, soon followed by Luxembourg, when I went into partnership with Walter Halubek, marketing and retailing Scandinavian designs all over Europe. I specialised in the Mediterranean and spent the next few years working out of Italy. By 1975 or thereabouts, the partnership dissolved and, needing a job to support the family, joined AAFES. I worked for them until 1989 in Italy, Germany and the UK. Given the choice between Apple Computers and Bose Corp, I opted to work for the latter for virtually the remainder of my career, in the UK. I retired in 2011, allowing me the time to travel and visit family in Germany, Mississippi and Texas, and friends all over Europe and to travel in general. Oh yes, and to scuba dive, which has become my favourite pastime.

Hated leaving PAHS in 1961 and hated even more the school I attended for my senior year, as a complete stranger: 'Nuff said!
