Brian Finn

Attended Oregon State University 1960 - 65, received commission in Army. Married in 1965. Served in Army 1965 to 1980 with trips to Vietnam. MA from Washington State 1974. Barbra & Bonnie born. While @ WSU, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints Which changed my life. Left the active Army in 1980. Worked for Safeco Insurance as claims adjuster starting in 1980. Remarried 1982. Alex, Paula, Steve & Jenny adopted from Colombia in 1991. Retired Dec 2008 from Safeco. May 2, 2009 married Sharon who has 4 children. BIG holidays! Now working with World Financial Group helping folks get out of debt, save money and make money. Have lived on the family farm since 1990.

Like many of my/our classmates, came to France without any real choice to settle in for my final year plus in High School with a new bunch of classmates in a new city where few spoke my language. It was a barrier at first but learned to move about in Paris, made friends in and out of school and shared experiences that have influenced my entire life. Willingness to see the culture and people around me, to join in and learn a few things has been invaluable. What a cool place to be @ such a time of growth. Did not share as much as I could have/should have with classmates but the pattern was set for the rest of my life. Cool beans! Had a grand time visiting with many class mates in San Antonio in 2010 and perhaps again in 2012 in DC.
