Judith M. Goebel RACINE – Judith M. (nee, Cuevas) Goebel, 76, passed away at Ascension All Saints on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Judy was born in San Diego, CA on September 23, 1940 to Claude and Sadie Cook. Judy met her husband William J. Goebel, Jr. while he was stationed in Paris, France. They were married on August 27, 1960 in Red Bank, NJ. Judy received her LPN from Gateway Technical college and worked at St. Luke’s and St. Mary’s Hospitals here in Racine, working with nursie friends, Sheri and Susie. She enjoyed spending time at their cabins up north on Boulder Lake, Bill’s Lake, Adelaide Lake and Lake Tomahawk. Judy loved decorating, antiquing, shopping, shopping and more shopping. She also like to spend time with her dog, Little and granddoggie Izzy. Judy also enjoyed her IPad, talking on the phone, 7-Up and a good Old-Fashioned! But most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her husband Bill on May 28, 2015 and her fur babies, Spencer and Maxx. Survivors include her children, Scott (Belinda) Goebel, Chris Goebel, Gregg Goebel and Lisa Goebel; grandchildren, Adam “Bug” (Melissa) Goebel, Emily “Em” Goebel and Amanda “Poopsie” Goebel; great grandchildren, Emmalin Goebel, William Goebel and Irelynn Rose; sisters, Carole (Bill) Dollarhide, Pam (Bill) Winegardner and Claudia Dunmyer; brother-in-law, Tom (Janice) Goebel; and sisters-in-law, Joni Carbonneau and Jane Krueger. Judy is also survived by special friends, Judy and Lee Dickert, and Arlene and Jim Skendziel; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
