We were class mates. Had a dandy fight our junior year then became friends. Had a great time in Paris a year or two after graduation then touched base a couple of times at reunions. He was a great guy. Peace.

Did not realize until recently when I ran across my Falls Church High School year book, Walt & I were on the 8th grade together there.  Our next meeting was our senior year at PAHS.  So sorry to learn of his passing.  He was a very enthusiastic and fun filled guy.

Walt and I were high school sweethearts (my junior year and his senior year) and I have many fond memories of those days in Paris.  That was a special time for all of us.  So sad to hear of his passing.

Walt was a good friend in high school, always ready with a joke. Then I saw him again at the PAHS reunion in 2000 and we had a long talk, catching up on more than forty years of living. I'm shocked and sad to know he's gone and that this happened in November 2014. Sending belated blessings to his family.

There's a wonderful photo gallery of Walt's life at http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/washingtonpost/obituary.aspx?pid=173070126.
