Doug and Nancy just attended the PAHS Reunion in Portland in September of this year, taking part in and enjoying all the activities.
Nancy shared with us with the greatest sorrow that Doug Nelson passed away early in the morning Tuesday, November 20. Attending the most recent reunion in Portland had been one of the highlights of his year.

What a sad shock to read about Doug's sudden death. He and I, with his wife Nancy, sat together at the Portland Reunion banquet and had a fun time together. I took a photo of the two of them which I'm posting here. There was lots of joyful dancing that night; Doug promptly sent this photo to their kids to prove that their parents still enjoyed taking a spin on the dance floor. Rest in peace, Doug.
