Marv "Wayne" Parker (1963)

His autograph in my 62 yearbook says: "Wayne, Wayne, you're a damn shame." He didn't really know me, but he liked rhymes!

Any information on the life and death of Larry?

I remember Pretty Boy, he was the first Mohammad Ali. At the D.C. Reunion in83 he told me he worked at the Library of Congress. Seems plausible hope he's in a better place. Bob H.

Does anyone know the circumstances of Larry's Death, if You do Sound Off, I'd like to know!

Cynthia Bartlett (Hunter) (1965)

Larry stood up for me in a really important way back in the day, and I was so disappointed to find out that I would never be able to thank him.

Really am sorry that Larry passed away. If anyone finds out what happened to him, please notify, thanks

Jay Gamel (1962)

As a first time football player in my senior year (medical issue), Larry took me under his wing and helped me be a decent player and learn the game. I'll be forever grateful to him for making that experience so much better than it could have been. I too was sad he left us before I got a chance to say, "thank you." The loss of his brother Carl even before that was a family tragedy.

Richard "Rick" Bessom (1962)

Larry was the quintessential gentle giant.  Oozing with confidence and never withholding support and, yes, the occasional bit of advice.  Be with the Lord, my friend.

Beth Free (Heberlein) (1962)

Yes, I agree that Larry was a gentle giant. He was a special friend and I have such fond memories of dancing with him whenever the occasion arose  He was an awesome dancer! Peace be with you, Larry!
