It is very hard to check this site and discover that people you liked are no longer with us. Clay was one of those. I remember him clearly as athletic and sociable.
Sad to learn of his passing.

Danny Albright was my first "beau" when I was 14 years old. Still have a steiff lamb he gave me, with the note "Mary had a little lamb, she loved it, that is true, but she didn't love it half as much as I LOVE YOU". He was a sweet, fickle flirt - I remember him fondly, and am sad to hear he is gone. Would appreciate additional comments from anyone who might have stayed in touch with him.

Janet Geary (Baker) (1962)

We lived above the Albrights in Petit Beauregard and I remember the family well. Clay was always friendly and fun. One day Clay and I were approached by a man who was looking for young people to be models in a clothing brochure. Clay and I, along with other younger children, did it and not only do I have a copy of the brochure, but our picture was displayed in the Metro. Talk about a surprise to see yourself on Metro walls!!

From what I understand, Clay died from complications he developed as a result of the use of Agent Orange in Vietnam. I have not heard any other details.
