PAHS sophomore Class President in 1958. BA degree, Playboy Bunny for 8 years, H&R Block. Northrup-Grumman, High level Classified US Government employment through 2009 when she began to suffer from cancer. Great sense of humor, highly inteligent, wonderful loving mother of six. Lifelong beauty. Totally at peace with the Lord and her destiny in His care. Extremely painful last days. Spoke in French about 1/3 of the time near the end. When asked if she had anything to say to Paris folks, her response was, "Go. Pirates!" Her ashes will be scattered in various spots in Paris in April 2012 at her request. My sister was a wonderful, caring, highly intelligent, artistic lady who played the piano wonderfully and painted beautifully who raised children of whom any parent would be proud.  Brother: Alex Class of '58

I'm deeply saddened to learn of Gretchen's passing. I will always remember the fun we had in typing class and all the fun and laughs we had on our two week ski trip to Wengen Alp with our Young Life Christian group.

God Bless,

Dean Phelan
