An editor at the Journal for Electronic Defense died in Annapolis, MD on March 9, 2013. Born in Shanghai, China in 1948 he spent his childhood in various cities both domestically and abroad while his father served at various posts within the United States government. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a BS in Engineering. He received his Masters Degree in Government from Webster University and his Phd in International Relations and Defense Studies from Claremont Graduate School. He served as an officer in the US Army from 1970 to 1975. He was employed as a senior editor at the Armed Forces Journal International 2000 for 20 years and created and edited the The Journal of Net-Centric Warfare during that time. He subsequently was an editor at the Journal for Electronic Defense for 5 years.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Grannia Watters Goodman; daughters, Reagan Goodman, Kelly Jeter and husband, Adam Jeter, Alex Goodman and Noelle Grace Watters Beliveau and sons, Glenn Goodman, III, Grady Goodman and wife, Amy Auburger and Kristian Goodman and wife Emily Goodman; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Ava Goodman and soon to be born grandchild Annabelle Goodman; siblings Catherine Ann Goodman Vander Haar and Peter Alan Verdegraal and countless extended family, colleagues and friends.

I am sorry to learn today that Glenn is no longer with us. Glenn and I spent a lot of time together in Paris while on the football and baseball teams and shared an interest in guitars. His energy and enthusiasm were traits which I remember - as well as his kindness. My wife and I spent an enjoyable few hours with Glenn and his wife at the 30th reunion in D.C. in 1996. Though Glenn had accomplished many things during those 30 years - I was struck by how much of the 1966 Glenn was still there, across the table from me!
After the reunion Glenn sent me some tapes of his guitar playing - which I listened to with a smile - his enthusiasm was undiminished from his guitar playing on the team bus in 1965!
It is hard - knowing this rascal is not out there, any longer. My condolences to his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. I remember him as a nice guy that I rode the school bus with from Downtown Paris to PAHS while I was at the Pricess Caroline hotel.
