Carolann "Binky" Binkley Mahoney

I'm a Corrections Nurse, meaning I work at the county jail. I work nights with 500 or so inmates, any of which could be a patient. Believe me, there's never a dull moment!

My previous career until 1995 was a systems analyst at IBM. I tried selling insurance and mutual funds for a couple of years.

I also started a waste management business with my husband (a former Econ professor) in 1995. It has grown to the point that we are really financially set forever without working. So why do I work as a nurse? Go figure!
