Peter, If I remember correctly she died several years ago.  She was a funny, kind soul.  Taught me a lot a American words I didn't know!!

Bernice was my classmate at Paris and at SHAPE HS in Belgium. She was always looking on the bright side of life, ready to find humor in every situation. She was a sweetheart indeed.

Hernice had a laugh, like the last laugh at the end of the world.

Guy Mead, you are so right about Hernice's laugh.

Hernice had a heart of gold and a personality to match!  She was one of the most care-free people I ever knew. God bless you, Hernice.  We are all that much richer for having known you.

Hernice was a wonderful person. I remember when I met her in Paris. I'm sorry to see she passed away. I also remember her brother, Flash!

I remember Hernice fondly.  She rode my school bus and was a character.  She would always make me laugh and everyone else too.  She had the voice of an angel and would sing all the time.  I loved listening to her and she would get me to sing with her sometimes.  I have thought about her over the years.  So sad she's gone.  She will be missed.
