Retired from Purdue University faculty (first-year engineering program); retired from Indiana Dept of Transportation where I as a district Technical Services Director.

Playing guitar, playing bass guitar, still playing trombone after all these years, mandolin currently on hold …

Thank you to all who served in the military; unfortunately I flunked my draft physical.

School Story:

One of the "dorm rats" from Fontainebleau -

just another very intense but misguided teen with no social skills and perhaps less confidence; enjoyed cross country, track, and band.

Many good memories of many classmates, but not certain they would remember me. Please understand that the previous sentence is not a request for a "pity party" or such, but a recognition that all of us are getting older and memory is sufficiently selective as to forget a few classmates and such from forty-some years back.

My band experience has proven very useful in my later years, as I still play my trombone and have expanded into strings, with guitar and bass guitar beginner-to-intermediate-level skills. It keeps the brain active ...

Deepest sympathies to Bob's family. I remember Bob in all sorts of activities, madrigals, band, chamber music, he was a track and cross country star, worked in the student book store, and was a letterman several times over. Sorry that all of us from class of 1964 lost contact after graduation because Bob was very much liked and was always a fun person to know. I was in France another full year going to the American College of Paris which is now the American University of Paris, returning to states in 1966. My husband Tony and I have been living in Denver Colorado for a long time. We have children in DC and Colorado Springs. Very sad that you lost your wonderful husband, father and friend. He left behind many good friends in Paris.

I still remember French class at Stewart Jr. High in Tacoma, after your return to the states and before I left for France. I appreciated your insights. I hope you are doing well.
